Threadhopping
Ask me to make sure the thread isn't important, but usually it's cool

Fourthwalling
Please do this. Please. It's such a big part of Roland's canon but I've never had anyone do it. I'd be thrilled. 

Backtagging
I'm still not sure if this refers to starting threads or continuing them. If we're in a game together and starting a thread set back in time, contact me. Sometimes the pace of games makes doing this awkward, but as long as it's not too far in the past and doesn't do much to change CR, usually I'll be up for it.
If this refers to continuing threads: yes. I will continue a thread for years, even if it's been a while since the other person last replied. 

Hugging/Kissing
He's less likely to take it as romantic, so if it's just casual affection stuff go right ahead.

Romance/Sex
Sometimes I'm into playing this out and sometimes I'm not, ask me if you're interested. If we do go there, Roland can enjoy sex and he can fall into casually sort-of romantic situations but he's not always going to act that passionate about any of it, even if he's enjoying himself. If you're cool with it not being the romance of the century or anything, and you're 20 or older, and would like to play something like this out, contact me. 

Fighting
Writing fight scenes with a character who has gary stu-esque godlike shootyman combat powers is tricky - I'm probably going to tone his abilities down, but that requires the other person's cooperation to make sure both characters get enough hits in to keep things fun. So I'd rather plan out fight scenes before playing them. 

Injury/Death
I'd rather this either be left up to me or be planned out first.

Body control/bodyswap/telepathy/etc.
Not without permission, but a definite yes as long as we talk first and have an idea of how it's going to go.

Anything I don't want mentioned near this character
Nothing I can think of.

Opt-out
elements of Roland's history that might come up: children being trained in the equivalent of a military boot camp, incest-feelings that were never acted on, parents dying, teenagers being burned to death, war, death, grief, emotional isolation. Let me know if you'd rather any or all of these things didn't come up in our threads.

(His canon does contain rape and sexual assault, but since canon never references the couple instances relevant to Roland in any way afterward I've never needed to write about them. Regardless, you're welcome to opt out of mention of this just to be sure.)
